No User Account Required: You do not need to register, log in, create a profile, or provide an email address, phone number, or password to use Wudu Reminder. No Server Tracking: We do not maintain a central user database that stores your Wudu status, prayer habits, Tasbih counts, or personal supplications. No Behavioral Profiling: We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to data brokers, marketing agencies, or unauthorized third parties. 2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE To provide core app functionality, Wudu Reminder saves key application states locally on your device using encrypted, sandboxed local database storage (Hive Key-Value Store). This information never leaves your device and is inaccessible to us or any external servers. Local data stored exclusively on your device includes: Wudu & Ghusl Status Logs: The active state of your Wudu (Valid, Broken, Need Ghusl) and timestamp logs ("Made at", "Broken at"). Tasbih & Dhikr Progress: Cumulative total counts, current target numbers, round completions, and custom Dhikrs added by you. App Preferences & Customizations: Selected visual themes (Light, Dark, Pink, Mecca), background color presets (Sage, Slate, Cream), background filter opacities, font scale factors, and language preferences across our 12 supported locales. Prayer Schedule Configurations: Selected calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm Al-Qura, Karachi), juristic Asr methods (Standard / Hanafi), per-prayer alert mute toggles, and alert lead times. Note: Uninstalling the application or clearing local application data permanently deletes all locally stored preferences and logs. 3. GPS AND LOCATION DATA (PRAYER TIME CALCULATIONS) To calculate accurate, offline prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr / Jumu?ah, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) for your exact geographical position, Wudu Reminder requests access to your device’s Location Services (GPS). On-Device Mathematical Calculation: When GPS location is acquired, your geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) are processed strictly on your device using pure mathematical solar equations. No Location Tracking: Your location data is never transmitted to external servers, cloud databases, or third-party mapping services. Storage: Latitude and longitude coordinates are cached locally in your device's sandboxed storage solely to re-compute offline prayer schedules without requiring continuous GPS power consumption. Location Controls: You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device’s system settings (Settings -> Permissions -> Location). If location permissions are denied, the App defaults to standard fallback coordinates (Makkah al-Mukarramah). 4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND ADVERTISING To keep Wudu Reminder freely accessible to Muslims around the world, the free version of the App utilizes third-party advertising services. A. Google AdMob In the free version of the App, we use Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve non-intrusive advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and process certain anonymous technical identifiers, including: Mobile Advertising Identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA). Device hardware specifications, screen dimensions, operating system version, and system language. IP address (used by Google for coarse location detection and fraud prevention). Ad interaction statistics and performance diagnostics. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. B. Ad-Free Privacy via Premium Upgrade Users who prefer complete ad-free privacy can upgrade to Wudu Reminder Premium. Upgrading to Premium: Completely disables all Google AdMob code and ad requests. Prevents any advertising networks from receiving device advertising IDs. Restores 100% offline, tracker-free operation across the entire application. 5. VOLUNTARY DONATIONS AND IN-APP PURCHASES A. App Store In-App Purchases Upgrades to Wudu Reminder Premium are processed through official platform app stores (Google Play Billing for Android and Apple App Store In-App Purchases for iOS). All financial transactions, credit card handling, and billing details are managed securely and directly by Google and Apple. We do not store or process your financial information or payment card numbers. B. Voluntary Support & Sadaqah Jariyah If you choose to make a voluntary contribution via our Support page or website (e.g., through platforms such as Ko-fi), the transaction is handled by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). These processors collect transaction details necessary to fulfill your contribution under their respective privacy policies. C. Charitable Donations (Sadaqah) As part of our commitment to continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah): 25% of proceeds from Premium upgrades and 50% of voluntary donations are dedicated toward humanitarian relief for brothers and sisters in need worldwide. Charitable contributions are made directly by us to established, verified humanitarian relief organizations and do not involve sharing user data. 6.
